A visually engaging website on a tight budget

Genie Creative was delighted to successfully tender for the design and development of a new website for the Aire Resilience Company (ARC), a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Leeds.

ARC plays an important role in building resilience to flooding across the mid and upper Aire Valley, delivering Natural Flood Management (NFM) initiatives and nature-based solutions that work with the natural environment to help reduce flood risk, improve habitats and create more resilient landscapes.

With funding for the project limited, the brief was clear: to create a visually engaging, professional and informative website that would communicate ARC’s work effectively, raise awareness of its projects and ambitions, and provide a strong online presence — all while working within a tight budget.

At Genie Creative, we understand that a restricted budget shouldn’t mean compromising on quality, creativity or performance. We worked closely with the client to develop a website that balances attractive design with clear navigation, accessible content and a structure that makes it easy for visitors to learn more about ARC’s work and the positive impact of Natural Flood Management across the Aire Valley.

The finished website is fully optimised, providing a solid foundation for online visibility and helping ARC reach a wider audience, share its work and engage with the communities and organisations that have a part to play in building a more flood-resilient future.

Despite the budgetary constraints, the project was delivered on schedule and within the agreed timeframe.
